Crane and Overhead Lifting

//Crane and Overhead Lifting
  • We offer a variety of personnel cages that are available in varying capacities, dimensions and working load limits. All are supplied with a load test certificate, risk control measure documents, work cover registration and comprehensive instructions. These are sourced from East West Engineering and all have been designed in strict accordance with Australian Standard AS 1418.17 to elevate the designated amount of personnel where it is not practical to erect scaffolds or use a specially designed device.
  • We source our goods cages from East West Engineering, which have been designed to safely store and transport loose or palletised goods by crane or forklift.
  • We have a variety of pallet hooks available, sourced through East West Engineering.
  • Lifting beams have a centre-lifting lug at the top that connects to a crane hook. A basic lifting beam will have a bottom lug at each end, to connect to slings or hook directly into the load. Spreader beams offer more stability compared to a lifting beam and they provide a potentially higher capacity for each set section of steel, however, bear in mind that they require more headroom than lifting beams.
  • Site toolboxes are a great way to store your work items securely, with the option to transport them via overhead crane and forklift. We offer two options from East West Engineering that are both tamper-proof, lockable, and designed and certified in accordance with Australian Standards. They consist of a heavy-duty, weatherproof construction, with fitted wheels that are removable and an enamel paint finish.
