We also offer a complete and thorough maintenance service. Our highly skilled technicians can perform any necessary repairs, ensuring production disruption remains at a minimum. For clients preferring to perform their own maintenance, we offer an extensive range of fasteners, rivet strips, hinge pins and tools.

FLEXCO® Fasteners
The SR™ (self setting rivet) hinged fastener system can address the most demanding material handling applications, delivering optimum performance, long life and easy installation for any belt conveyor system.
The SR™ combines top and bottom fastener plates joined at one end by two wide hinge loops. Sandwiching the belt end, the plates are secured to the belt with a staggered patterns of rivets, thereby avoiding damaging the carcass.
Can be used on old and new belts ranging from 3-25mm with pulley diameters from 125-1050mm. The SR™ system has a long history of service on belts with mechanical fastener ratings of up to 350kN/m (2000 PIW).
FLEXCO® SR™
FLEXCO® SR™ is available in six forms relevant to application and belt specification. The lower fastener profile improves performance and features a scalloped edge, reducing the fasteners exposure to cleaner blades, skirt rubbers and return idlers.
The scalloped edge fasteners are designed for rubber plied and PVC solid woven belts. A built in viewport simplifies the fastener positioning. The right fastener for your application corresponds to the belt’s width.
FLEXCO® SR™ fasteners are offered in 4 finishes:
Steel
Plated steel standard material for most applications that helps combat mild corrosion.
Stainless
The 300 Series provides extra resistance to abrasion, magnetic attraction, and corrosion from acids and chemicals.
MegAlloy®
Possesses several times the service life of steel, with superior resistance to wear and abrasion.
RustAlloy®
A low chrome, stainless steel alloy that resists corrosion from acidic mine water and other chemicals.
The FLEXCO® SR™ product list includes:
R2 with a unique two-teeth/two rivet that offers the highest efficiencies in strength and durability for medium duty applications.
R5 is suitable for wood processing or construction equipment with smaller pulleys as well as underground mining.
R51/2 is a midsize fastener ideal as an upgrade for R5 or in applications where pulley size prohibits the use of R6.
R6 can be used in certain applications up to 210kN/m (1200 PIW).
R6LP (low profile) features a lower fastener profile for improved compatibility with cleaner blades, skirt rubber and return idlers.
R8 has an eight-rivet pattern designed for use on mainline and panel belts with mechanical fastener rating up to 263kN/m (1500 PIW).
R9 has greater reachback, a thicker plate and an enhanced loop area designed for larger pin diameters for high tension or thick belt applications up to 350kN/m (2000 PIW.).
