Fabric

Our premium quality classic fabric belting in nylon and polyester carcasses are designed for a wide range of applications.

Standout features include high adhesion levels, lower elongation, and field performance, a smooth finish and extreme resistance to abrasive materials. The high adhesion levels result in an enduring bond between covers and plies.

Belts can be manufactured up to 2200mm wide without longitudinal joints (higher widths can be discussed and produced on request).

2 Ply Rubber Belting

2 Ply belting is for conveyors in light industrial environments such as recycling plants. We offer 2 Ply belting in four grades, 2 standard thicknesses, and lengths ranging from 350 to 1800.

3 Ply Rubber Belting

3 Ply belting is for conveyors in light to medium industrial environments, with the grade of the belt determining the usage. E grade 3 Ply belts are used for grain while N and M grade are employed in industries such as mobile crushers, brickworks, and concrete batching plants. 

We offer 3 Ply belting in four grades, 2 standard thicknesses, and lengths ranging from 350 to 1800.

4 Ply Rubber Belting

4 Ply belting is for conveyors in heavy industrial environments, commonly used in the mining and brickworks ideally suited to conveyors using feeder and impact beds.

Our belts are furnished to the highest standard in accordance with client requirements.

Cover Compounds

Cover compounds have been specifically formulated to achieve very high physical properties of abrasion resistance, tear, cut and gouge resistance. Specific cover grades are also available for particular applications such as heat, food and chemical resistance. Talk to our chemists to discuss suitability for any particular applications.  Standard cover grades in Natural and SBR rubber includes the following:

“N” grade  - Predominantly SBR (synthetic) rubber; has good all-purpose properties.

“M” grade  - Natural rubber polymer; excellent resistance to cut and tear.

“E” grade  - Polymer blend and specially compounded to have antistatic properties.

“SAR” grade - Polymer blend with excellent abrasion resistance.

“XCG” grade - Polymer blend with superior resistance to cut and gouge.

Reinforcing

Options include polyester/nylon, nylon/nylon, steel cord, and PVC solid woven. The fabric reinforced belts can be woven to various strengths and in various configurations such as cross weave, mono-ply tyre cord, and crow’s foot weave (Twill weave). Test certificates can be provided to verify actual belt strengths.

Polyester / Nylon Fabric (EP)

“EP” Refers to the conveyor belt reinforcing, consisting of synthetic woven fabric, utilizing a polyester fiber for warp and a polyamide (nylon) fibre for weft, and has the following specific features:

1) Lower stretch and high resistance to tension.

2) Greater resistance to moisture, mildew, and rot.

3) Less influence under temperature.

4) Excellent toughness.

5) Excellent resistance to impact.

6) Very good resistance to chemicals.

Nylon / Nylon Fabric (NN)

“NN” Refers to nylon warp (along the belt) and nylon weft (across the belt) cross woven fabric reinforcing. The main characteristics of nylon/nylon reinforcing are:

1) Exceptional shock and impact resistance to the carrying surface.

2) Superior fastener holding ability.

3) Excellent troughability and flexibility.

4) Excellent resistance to water and mildew.

5) High strength.
